Tecumsen Overhead Valve, Need some Help

I have a 6 HP Tecumsen OHV Motor, ( ENDURO ) Spec. 7117 E -- Engine Family 2TPXS. 195B I pulled the bowl off the carb to clean it out, I didn't notice which way I took it off, which way does the flat off set in the bottom of the Bowl go, or does it make any difference? I figure it does,

This engine is on a Cyclone Yard Rake
