I think I rubbed the side of a rear tire up against something I was mowing around and it made the bead break and the tire to go flat. I have no idea how to get it re-inflated so I look on google. After reading a bunch of advice saying to just get a tube I gave up on the internet and figured I would just try putting air in a see what happens.
I try inflating it but it wouldn't hold air. Then I think maybe wrapping something around the circumference would help. All I had laying around was some romex so I took piece of that, wrapped it around the tire and twisted it tight with a pliers. Try inflating again and it's a miracle it holds air! So now I think that was easy and go to put the wheel back on the mower. I slip it on and the axle doesn't stick all the way though the rim. What the heck happened there? I look some more and see the frame spread apart after taking the wheel off so less of the axle was sticking out. Really the axle is the only thing keeping the frame together? Now what do I do? I wish I had a 3' bar clamp.
So I take another piece of romex and make a loop through a couple holes on each side of the frame and keep twisting to bring the sides of the frame closer until I can get the wheel on. Yay I can finish the front yard. I really would think they would have put another e clip on the inside of the wheels to stop this from happening.
So now what will happen tomorrow when I try and do the back yard?
